Solar Project: Isauro's 12-Panel Grid-Tied Setup in Calgary, Alberta
by Jackie TranIsauro’s 12-Panel Grid-Tied Solar Setup in Calgary, Alberta, is a high-performance system optimized for maximum energy capture in Alberta’s sunny climate.
Equipped With Bifical Solar Panels
The system features 12 JA Solar 550W Bifacial Solar Panels, crafted with MBB (multi-busbar) bifacial PERCIUM cells in a half-cell, double-glass configuration. These panels generate power from both the front and rear sides, capitalizing on reflected light for increased energy yield. Built to withstand Calgary’s variable conditions, they offer a lower temperature coefficient, reduced shading loss, and enhanced tolerance to mechanical stress, ensuring consistent performance and durability.
Energy Optimized With NEP Inverters
This setup is powered by three NEP Quadruple Inverters (each rated at 2000W) with advanced DC overload protection up to 150%, allowing Isauro to maximize the energy output from his panels. Each inverter includes MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking), maintaining efficiency at a remarkable 97.3% to optimize energy transfer. Designed for seamless connectivity, these inverters feature built-in PLC or WiFi for smart integration and are housed in NEMA-6/IP-66/IP-67-rated enclosures, making them resilient against Calgary’s climate. While meeting global certifications, this system provides Isauro with a reliable, efficient, and low-maintenance source of sustainable energy all year round.
