What is UL9540 VS UL1973?

UL9540 is a safety standard that ensures the safe installation and operation of energy storage systems (ESS) indoors.

In Canada, it is mandatory to select the UL9540 option when installing batteries indoors. For batteries in non-dwelling zones, the UL1973 option is sufficient.
