Michiel B.'s unique solar power project near Burlington, Ontario, is a large-scale ground mount solar energy system designed to power a thriving vineyard operation with sustainable, renewable energy. Being one of our larger solar installations, this robust project features high-efficiency Jinko solar panels, advanced Sol-Ark hybrid inverters, and dependable Pytes LiFePO4 battery storage, all mounted on precision-engineered Kinetic ground frames. Together, they form a comprehensive solution that delivers reliable, clean power for both agricultural and operational needs.
Power from Jinko Solar Panels
At the heart of the system are 96 Jinko 465W solar panels, known for their superior performance and durability. Jinko panels are designed with advanced PERC cell technology, multi-busbar construction, and optimized temperature coefficients that ensure maximum energy production even under variable sunlight conditions. These panels provide consistent, high-yield performance throughout Ontario’s seasonal climate, helping to reduce the winery’s reliance on grid electricity and lower long-term energy costs.
Controlled by Sol-Ark Hybrid Solar Power Inverters
Energy management is handled by 5 Sol-Ark 15K Hybrid Inverters, offering intelligent control, seamless grid interaction, and high-power output. Sol-Ark inverters are designed for hybrid operation, supporting both grid-tied and off-grid functionality. They feature rapid shutdown (RSD) compliance, integrated monitoring, and generator compatibility, ensuring a safe and versatile power system. With parallel operation capabilities, these inverters efficiently distribute energy across the entire vineyard site, maintaining stable and balanced performance under varying loads.
Energy Stored Securely in Pytes LiFePO4 Solar Power Batteries
Energy storage is powered by 28 Pytes LiFePO4 batteries, providing dependable, long-lasting energy reserves for nighttime and cloudy conditions. Pytes batteries are engineered for safety, longevity, and efficiency, offering over 6,000 life cycles and intelligent battery management systems (BMS) for optimal performance. This configuration allows the winery to store excess solar power for later use, ensuring continuous operation and resilience against power interruptions.

Built Using Kinetic Solar Panel Ground Mount Structures
The system is supported by 4 Kinetic 24-panel Ground Mount frames, designed for strength, stability, and ease of maintenance. Each mount securely holds the panels at the optimal angle for maximum sunlight exposure throughout the year. This ground-mounted design enables efficient cooling, improved performance, and simplified service access, making it ideal for large-scale agricultural installations.
