Description

Teck Cable, Armored 600 V, CSA TECK90, Multi-Conductor, 10 or 6 AWG (depending on variant sele, Stranded Bare Copper, XLPE/PVC/AIA/PVC.

TECK90 is an interlocked armored cable for use in petro-chemical, pulp and paper, and other industrial application environments. TECK90 can be used in open and concealed wiring, direct burial, and in hazardous locations.

The insulated conductors are made with cross-linked polyethylene and twisted with an uninsulated ground wire. The twisted core is covered with a PVC jacket, then covered with either interlocked aluminum or galvanized steel, and covered with a PVC jacket over the armor.

 

Product Construction

Conductor:

  • 10 or 6 AWG (depending on variant selected)  bare copper Class B compressed concentric round to ASTM B8

Insulation:

  • Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE), Type RW90
  • Color-coded: 1 to 4 conductors— black, white, red and blue; over 4 conductors—per ICEA Method 4, individual conductors colored black with conductor number surface printed in contrasting ink

Ground (Bonding) Conductor:

  • The conductor consists of one uninsulated stranded bare copper conductor
  • Color-coded per ICEA Method 4; individual conductors colored black with conductor number surface printed in contrasting ink

Inner Jacket:

  • Lead-free, flame-retardant, moisture- and sunlight-resistant Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), black

Armor:

  • Aluminum Interlocked Armor (AIA)

Overall Jacket:

  • Lead-free, ACID-FLAME-CHECK ✓✓® flameretardant,
  • moisture- and sunlight-resistant
  • Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), black

Print:
